'Maanja Velu' produced under the banner of 'Feather Touch Entertainments', directed by A. Venkatesh is nearing completion. We hear that the shooting for this mega budget film is almost over, with just the climax fight remaining; for which a big set is being erected. This fight sequence is planned to be shot for 10 days. Kanal Kannan, the stunt choreographer is said to have come up with a variety of sequences.

The team of ‘Maanja Veju’ is hoping that the stunts will favour them just like their earlier flick 'Malai Malai'. When asked about his efforts for the film, Arun Vijay revealed, “I appear with a tonsured head, a look that I have never sported in my entire career so far, at a very crucial point in the film. The director wanted me to appear this way as it would create a big impact for the storyline.”

“One of the highlights in the film with this look is a fight that we have filmed with me hanging upside down, again something that no one has tried in Tamil cinema as of yet. This 'upside down' sequence was shot for 7 days and was physically demanding and time consuming. I am quite confident that my hard work will be talked about and ‘Maanja Velu’ will be a milestone in my’ career,” added the hero.
